The Alvarez family of Vega Sicilia recently bought this estate in Toro, the latest viticultural area aspiring to the Ribera del Duero’s title, with Pintia as its star. The wines are 100% Tempranillo from vines aged between 25 and 45 years.

A glass-coating opaque purple color, it shows off a compelling bouquet of wood smoke, scorched earth, mineral, incense, blackberry, and licorice.
