Boekenhoutskloof

Marc Kent is part of a rising tide of young, energetic winemakers in South Africa who are focusing on producing small lots of high quality Syrah and other Rhône varietals. A Syrah lover, and an avowed Rhône wine fan, Kent fashions his Syrah in a beefy, olive and tobacco-filled style and aged only 35, is responsible for some of South Africa’s most talked about wines. The Boekenhoutskloof operation produces some outstanding wine across the board however we're concentrating on the premium Syrah blend, known as the 'Chocolate Block'. This is without doubt one of South Africa's most sought after wines and consequently our allocation is relatively small each year. Buy it while you can!
