Castello di Argiano

Castello di Argiano is the estate of Signor Giuseppe Maria Sesti. A Renaissance man with so many interests, Sesti studied wine for 15 years before making his first Brunello. He went around and spoke to the old farmers to see how they made their wine. Being a very competent astronomer and a practitioner of biodynamics, he manipulates his wines as little as possible and respects the influence of the moon prior to doing any transfer of wine.

Wines from Castello di Argiano

Producer: Castello di Argiano
Wine: Monteleccio 2007
Region: Tuscany Country: Italy
Grape: Sangiovese
Tasting notes: 100% sangiovese from Tuscany this is a glass full of dry, dark cherry fruit. Interesting the tone these wines take, much more in keeping with Brunello rather than Chianti. Well-structured, but not heavy.
