After the 2003 vintage, brothers Alain and Jean-Louis Chavy split their family estate (Domaine Gérard Chavy),each receiving 6 1/2 hectares of prime Puligny-Montrachet vineyard. Alain Chavy has a 7 hectare estate producing top notch white Burgundies. Based in a beautiful “maison bourgeoise” in the centre of Puligny-Montrachet. He heralds from a long line of Chavys, a family name with a tremendous reputation in the wine world.
