Samuel Billaud (winemaker of Billaud Simon fame) has diversified his energies into making a 'negociant' style of Chablis. Following a falling out with his uncle (Simon) he has challenged himself to make the finest negociant wine money can buy. This was trialled witha first vintage last year and as of this year is now considered a rival to any other mainstream village level wine. A true master in the art of fine crisp Chablis.
