Eden Valley

The Eden Valley is a cooler sub-region of the Barossa to the south east on the Barossa Range, overlooking the Barossa Valley. The Eden Valley has a wide range of soils mostly derived from schistic and sedimentary rock with red clay and sandy loams, which leads to a wide variety of wines being produced. It is best known for its Shiraz and Riesling. The high altitude and cool climate of the region produces wines with great complexity and cellaring capacity.
