Appellation

Gigondas

Gigondas lies in the middle of the Cote du Rhone, around 10km northeast of Orange. It started out as Cote du Rhone clawing its way to full AOC status in 1971. The vineyards lie at the foot of the stunning Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, in a series of slopes and valleys. Gigondas produces rich powerful reds, the best being beautifully structured and balanced.
