Groth Vineyards & Winery was established in 1982 and produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from Napa Valley and Oakville appellations. In special years they make a "Reserve" bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon from a small block in their 121 acre Oakcross Estate. They also own and operate 44 acre Hillview Vineyard south of the winery, a prime source for the winery's Chardonnay and Merlot. From its inception the winery has been family owned and operated.

Suzanne Groth, daughter of founders Dennis and Judy, also creates original art inspired by the Winery and Estate (see picture, right).
