Jean-Marie Fourrier makes extremely elegant wines. He is fanatical about terroir and prefers to vinify and bottle each parcel separately to capture their different expressions. To retain the individuality of each wine he also avoids masking their character with over use of oak and restricts the percentage of new oak to a maximum of 20%.
