Fred Loimer is a very forward looking winemaker; he has built a highly contemporary winery above his old cellars in the village of Langenlois. Whilst most Austrian producers are making a very rich and sweet style of wine, Fred ferments his wine to dryness, giving it great depth with crisp steely acidity.

Tasting notes: This is a classic dry Grüner Veltliner, with spicy, peppery, and even exotic perfumes of grapefruit and pineapple. Medium bodied, with good levels of acidity and minerality on the palate. A great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.
