Indisputably one of the finest white wine Domaines in Burgundy. Jacques Carillon is a quiet, reserved and thoughtful winemaker who has built upon the experience of his father Louis and has further improved the quality since taking full control of the estate in the mid nineties. His wines are restrained when young, but when fully mature they represent the very best of White Burgundy. The estate’s 2004s are reminiscent of the highly successful 2000s combining purity, minerality and lovely fresh acidity.
