Man O' War

Discovered in 1769 by Captain James Cook, the rugged and beautiful coastline of Waiheke Island boasts a beautiful spread of coastal hillsides with high cliffs and stunning beaches. Man O' war boasts a pristine spot on the eastern side of the island.
Grapes were first introduced by the Man O’War family in 1993, firm in the belief that world class wines could be produced here. 27 years later, almost 90 individual pockets of Man O’ War’s hillsides have been cultivated for wine growing, each chosen for the unique and exceptional qualities they bring to the wines.
