Maison Nicolas Potel was set up in 1997, following the sale of Domaine Pousse d'Or, where Nicolas' father had been winemaker since the 1960s. Nicolas has a fantastic reputation and contacts which enables him to obtain parcels which would not normally be available to a young negocient. Cottin Freres, recently bought Potel's business, enabling Nicolas to concentrate on producing the great wines for which he has become known.
