Nyetimber is the estate which has been at the forefront of sparkling wine production. The Classic Cuvee regularly wins competitions against famous Champagnes. It is served by the Queen and by our embassies around the world. It is an exquisite sparkling wine, and tastes as you would expect, like a classic Champagne.

Tasting notes: Critics and consumers alike have much enjoyed this vintage which works well both as an aperitif and one to be enjoyed with food. It won critical acclaim at the International Wine & Spirit Competition when first shown in 2008 and narrowly missed winning the trophy for the best sparkling wine in the world.

A beautiful pale gold, the wine has a persistent fine mousse with expressive aromas on the nose suggesting citrus, honey and spice. The palate is full bodied with mature honey and toast, with some lime undertones.

Tasting notes: A lovely bright straw yellow colour with hints of green and a fine bead with delicate mousse.

The nose displays powerful flavours of lemon and baked apple, jasmine, butter and vanilla with hints of caramel and marzipan.

There is a clean fresh green apple entry on the palate quickly followed by classic Chardonnay characters of baked lemon and minerals. The mousse is soft and gives a lovely delicacy to the wine. The long finish is buttery and toasty - a sophisticated and elegant wine.
