The picturesque region is now recognised as producing some of Australia's finest red and white wines. Seppelts pioneered the lush limestone plain in 1964 and were soon joined by other vignerons drawn to the area by the combination of mediterranean climate, reliable rainfall and the famous terra rossa soil.
These conditions, coupled with an excellent underground water supply, ensure premium quality grapes, filled with intensity and flavour, and perfect for the production of fine wines.
Tasting notes: Light yellow with a pale straw hue. A lifted nose of citrus, fresh stone fruit and melon. The palate is clean and fresh with subtle lees characters and has great poise. This wine will age beautifully over the next 4-5 years.
