We only list a short selection of wines from Portugal, but cover both ends of the financial spectrum. Vista TR has been hugely successful for us – a great find which is an “everyday wine” in price only. Only a little more expensive, Quinta do Crasto is a superbly sited winery in the Douro with an enviable reputation and the Douro Red is a warming, supple blend of indigenous grape varieties in a modern structure. Finally Xisto is a joint venture between Quinta do Crasto and Cazes family of Chateau Lynch Bages, and is a sublime combination of the spicy character of Douro and the finesse of Bordeaux. Serious and complex.
