Sancerre lies on the left bank of the upper Loire, around the dramatic hilltop town of the same name. Sancerre has been the model of Sauvignon Blanc producers around the world, producing elegant racy aromatic wines. It also produces light gorgeous reds and roses from Pinot Noir.
