Sicily is going through a wine renaissance with many new good producers emerging and international varieties being planted alongside the native Nero d'Avola ad Nerello Mascalese.
Tasting notes: Dry - Made from a blend of Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia. The Curatolo family have been producing excellent Marsala and creditable wine for over a century.
Tasting notes: Sweet - This wine is round and soft on the palate with fresh notes of dried fruit, nuts and honeysuckle with a pleasant, sweet and clean finish.
Tasting notes: A stunning sweet wine from the Island of Pantelleria closer to the North African coast than that of Sicily. The grapes come from 11 different areas of the island having unique micro-climates that determine different times of maturity. After August 15, harvesting begins by picking the grapes that will be left to dry naturally by the sun and the wind for 20-30 days. In September, the less precocious vineyards are harvested. The fresh grapes are cooled to preserve their aromas and then soft-pressed to obtain the must. During the course of fermentation, the dried grapes, that have been de-stemmed by hand, are added several times. The phase of maceration of the dried grape in the must is delicate and essential to obtain the extraordinary qualities of persuasive sweetness, freshness and special aroma. The wine then ages in stainless steel tanks for at least 4 months and 6 months in the bottle.
The wine displays its extraordinary personality and depth initially with its bright amber yellow colour. After the first, intense notes of apricots and peaches, the bouquet offers sweet sensations of dried figs, honey, herbs and mineral notes. The wine is impressive on the palate with its outstanding complexity due to a fusing of sweetness, acidity and softness.
A great sipping wine, perfect with blue cheese or foie gras.

Tasting notes: Both varieties contributed in equal parts to the final blend. Ripe grapes without excessive concentrations created a wine that’s moderately alcoholic. Very clean nose, with notes of lime and tropical fruits along with delicate mineral nuances. In the mouth the fruit is very flavoursome. Its freshness assures a long and pleasant finish.
Tasting notes: An initially sweet profile recalling blackberry and sour cherry, followed by peppers, leather, light tobacco and cocoa. In the mouth it's full, forceful and energetic, with a voluminous, flowing structure.
Tasting notes: This is a wonderfully rich Chardonnay with delicate aromatics and plenty of ripe varietal fruit and a mineral backbone. With elegant structure and excellent length this is a wine of great quality.

Tasting notes: Robert Parker 90 (2006) - Wine Advocate # 182 Apr 2009. Reviewer : Antonio Galloni. The 2006 Santa Cecilia is Nero d’Avola that spends 12 months in French oak. In this vintage it is a beautiful, refined wine, with pretty, layered notes of red fruits, sweet herbs, and licorice. A subtle note of mint comes through on the long finish. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
