Post apartheid, South Africa has rapidly regained its place within the international wine world. Following much foreign and domestic investment it is now making better wines which represent good value for money at all levels. South African wine styles lie in the middle between the New and the Old World, showing big ripe fruit flavours and underlying elegance.
