Wines purchased en primeur are purchased excluding duty and VAT. When the wine arrives in the UK, it is automatically delivered to and stored under our bond at London City Bond, where it will be stored in optimum conditions until you wish to withdraw it. When you decide to take delivery of the wines you are required to pay the prevailing rate of UK duty and VAT, and the prevailing post-shipment carriage rate. Wines cellared with Imbibros are subject to cellarage charges. If you wish to transfer wines to a personal bond, this may be arranged subject to a transfer fee.
