Tasting notes: Made from Antao Vas and Arinto, indigenous Alentejan white grapes, and part matured in new oak for just 3 months. Antao Vas in particular is a grape that responds very well to a little oak as its fresh pineapple character is softened by a hint of vanilla.
This is quite a complex wine, with pleasing weight, and fresh lime and pineapple flavours entwined with peppery and nutty flavours and a fine lingering finish. Perfect for a summer chicken salad. |

| Tasting notes: This little gem is a blend of two indigenous Portuguese grapes, Roupeiro and Antao Vaz. Medium straw in color; chalk, mineral and bee’s wax play as prominent a role in the wine’s personality as the grapefruit, lemon and lime flavors and aromas. Medium full-bodied and fairly rich, with good depth, cut and length, it offers great value. |
