Tasting notes: Made from Antao Vas and Arinto, indigenous Alentejan white grapes, and part matured in new oak for just 3 months. Antao Vas in particular is a grape that responds very well to a little oak as its fresh pineapple character is softend by a hint of vanilla.
This is quite a complex wine, with pleasing weight, pineapply and limey to the fore, peppery and nutty at the edges and an attractive balance. |
